The participation of all community members is very important in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the Edmonton Chapter. Our community needs your involvement in social and cultural activities and Lebanon needs your help in rebuilding it's socioeconomic institutions. The WLCU-Edmonton Chapter sincerely invites you to become a member and contribute to the well-being and strength of your community. Join now!
Please use the form below to apply for membership with the WLCU or to renew your existing membership on an annual basis. See Membership Fees (on the right) for information on payment options.
(Note: You must live in Edmonton, AB to join the Edmonton Branch.)

Privileges of WLCU Membership
When you become a member of the WLCU-Edmonton Branch, you benefit from the following:
- You will be well informed of the community’s activities and events
- You will belong to an organization that makes a difference
- You will have an opportunity to support the community
- You will have access to the different programs offered by the WLCU
- You can advertise your business or service on our Member's Links page
In return for the above, we require that members perform the following duties:
- Attend General Meetings, including the AGM
- Exercise your vote
- Provide ideas to the board for developing & executing WLCU programs
- Support WLCU's activities and volunteers when able
- Promote the WLCU & provide postivie representation of our organization

WLCU Privacy Policy
The World Lebanese Cultural Union Edmonton Branch respects your right to privacy and is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust. Our Privacy Policy is compliant with Canada's Personal Information and Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
Our web site includes features that are designed to enable you join our membership. Your application for membership requires some personal identification in order to be effective and considered legitimate by decision makers.
Any and all information we collect will be securely stored. Any personal information you provide to us will never be sold, traded, exchanged or otherwise divulged, without your knowledge & consent.
When you become a WLCU member, you will receive updates and newsletters from us. We endeavour not to send more than one (two at most) email posts to you each month. These postings may contain an appeal for donation for emergency appeals overseas and/or for support of local WLCU programs and services.
By request, you can view and change the information that WLCU has retained by emailing WLCU. These requests are subject to Section 9 of the Personal Information and Protection and Electronic Documents Act, and may take up to 30 days to be fulfilled. All information between you and the WLCU remains confidential.
You will always have the option of unsubscribing from the WLCU mailing list, and on request, WLCU will be pleased to erase all record of your personal information from our secure server and our records.
